Timothy Ide

Timothy Ide illustrated Tom the Outback Mailman, which won the 2013 Eve Pownall Award from the Children’s Book Council of Australia. He has illustrated many other children’s books, such as A Country Christmas by Max Fatchen. Some of Timothy’s work was selected for Harper Collin’s Realms of Tolkien project and later published in a Tolkien Calendar, realizing a childhood ambition. Timothy presents at primary and high schools, mixing slide show presentations with demonstrations and workshops. Find out more.

Claire Richards

Artists Claire Richards illustrates other authors’ picture books and tells her own stories through animations and handmade books. She has illustrated picture books for  publishers including Omnibus Books, Scholastic Australia, Windy Hollow, Porotroo Publishing and Wombat Books. Claire experiments with all art forms but favours watercolours and digital art. She is working on her Masters and holds a Bachelor of Visual Art/Applied Design and a Bachelor of Education. Katrina Germein

Katrina Germein writes picture books, including the Australian bestsellers Big Rain Coming and My Dad Thinks He’s Funny. She delivers author talks, presentations and workshops to children aged four to twelve years. She also runs adult workshops for aspiring writers and story time events for parents, babies and young children. Katrina holds a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Early Childhood Education. Not available in 2017.
